Allergies and Effects

Allergy is one of the common most disorders that disturbs almost every one at least once in his life time. Many people regularly report of having allergic reactions to some typical substance. The substance that causes the allergic reactions is technically called the allergen.
Allergy cause unpleasant or dangerous symptoms such as sneezing, skin irritations and constriction of the throat from the exposure to the substances that are otherwise harmless. One can become allergic due to the contact with allergens that trigger allergic reactions. The most commonly known allergens include, pollen, dust mites, molds, animal dander and some food substances. When the immune system of the body overreacts to an allergen the allergic reactions occurs.
The allergic disorders are the sixth major cause of chronic illnesses in the United States. Allergies often remain undiagnosed or inadequately treated and the itching, sneezing, wheezing and coughing get more troublesome.
The condition may probably turn dangerous if left untreated. Some allergies may even cause reactions that prove to be fatal. Though there is no permanent cure for allergic conditions, detection and avoidance of doubtful allergen is the best remedy of keeping away from allergies.
Most common symptoms or affects of allergic reactions include, rashes, hay fever, runny nose, itching and watery eyes, itchy ear and throat, nausea, vomiting, sever cough and colds, consistent sneezing etc.
