Blood Disorder Due To Infection

The term blood could be defined as the fluid that carries substances like hormones, oxygen and glucose to the different tissues of our body and in turn carrying the carbon dioxide away from various tissues as waste. Blood is the red colored fluid that flows through the arteries and veins of the body. Most significant for the body’s survival, blood travels through the arteries carrying oxygen from the lungs and glucose from the liver to every cell in the organs and tissues of the body.
An average adult has approximately four liters of blood comprising of blood cells that are little less than half of the volume of the blood in the
body, and plasma. There are numerous conditions and ailments that can directly or indirectly impact the blood cells, such as leukemia, lymphoma and anemia. There are various infections also that cause blood disorders. The infections like human immune deficiency – HIV is the most dangerous type of blood infection that causes various serious problems in the blood. It is considered to cause even death in most of the cases. There may be some infections that cause heavy imbalance of white blood cells and red blood cell counts. Such problems may lead to various blood related ailments.
